Terms and Conditions
By purchasing from JD Thomas Home/JD Wax Melts Ltd, you are hereby agreeing to the following terms and conditions and are therefore bound.
1.0 Refunds and Exchanges
If you change your mind I am happy to offer an exchange or refund within 14 days of you receiving your order, original postage costs will not be refunded.
Return postage will be paid by the customer. Goods must be returned in a sellable condition in the original sealed packaging. Refunds and exchanges will be processed once the items have been received back to JD Thomas Home/JD Wax Melts Ltd and have been inspected. Goods must be received back to JD Thomas Home/JD Wax Melts Ltd within 14 days of the agreement to exchange/refund.

1.1 Parcels returned by Royal Mail/courier to JD Thomas Home/JD Wax Melts Ltd
In the unlikely event that Royal Mail/a courier cannot deliver and the parcel is returned to us for reasons of; address could not be found, no access to property, incorrect address provided by customer; if you wish to have your parcel sent out again you will be required to pay additional postage. If you would prefer to have your order refunded, your original shipping costs will not be refunded. It is the customers responsibility to ensure their address is correct and their property is accessible.
2.0 Right to Cancel
In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. Please refer to policy 1.0 Refunds and Exchanges, for more information.
3.0 Heat Damage/Broken in Transit
Any items that arrive with heat damage or are broken in transit will not be eligible for a refund or exchange unless they are unusable. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with photos to discuss this.
Replacements will be sent where applicable.
4.0 Faulty Items
If you believe you have a faulty item please contact me on email@example.com to discuss this.
Faulty items will be replaced or refunded in full once the items have been received back to JD Thomas Home/JD Wax Melts Ltd (if applicable).
If you were made aware of the fault prior to purchasing, these items are not eligible for refund or exchange.
5.0 Custom Orders
Custom orders are not eligible for refund or exchange. These are also exempt from the Right to Cancel regulation as they are tailor made for you.
6.0 Turnaround Timescales
In stock items - I aim to get these dispatched within 3-10 working days of receiving your order.
Custom items - I aim to get these made to your specifications as quickly as possible. Please allow up to 15 working days for dispatch.
Wholesale orders - all wholesale items are made to order, please allow 7-12 working days for your order to be completed before dispatch.
7.0 Out of Stock Items
In the unlikely event of your chosen wax melt item being out of stock, we will either offer a refund for that item or replace that item for one of equal or higher value in the same scent, ie. we may send a snap bar instead of a set of leaves.
8.0 Working Hours
Please be mindful of our working hours, no emails will be responded to on weekends. Please allow up to 2 working days for a reply to emails, whilst we endeavour to respond as soon as possible sometimes the matter may need investigating.
Please note there is a worldwide pandemic which may be affecting timescales of deliveries at different levels. Please allow up to 13 working days for your delivery to arrive AFTER dispatch.
